1987

José Monterroso and Marques Pereira begin practising together.

1999

Arnaldo Custódio joins as a partner.

2006

Monterroso & Associados is formally incorporated.

2021

Following the retirement of founder José Monterroso, Sofia Cavadas, Pedro Luís Fialho and Samuel Dias Henriques join MADV as partners.

2025

The Benedita office opens.

The firm is renamed MADV.

2026

The new Caldas da Rainha office opens.
